Audiences hate modern classical music because their brains cannot cope

For decades critics of modern classical music have been derided as philistines for failing to grasp the subtleties of the chaotic sounding compositions, but there may now be an explanation for why many audiences find them so difficult to listen to.
A new book on how the human brain interprets music has revealed that listeners rely upon finding patterns within the sounds they receive in order to make sense of it and interpret it as a musical composition. While traditional classical music follows strict patterns and formula that allow the brain to make sense of the sound, modern symphonies by composers such as Arnold Schoenberg and Anton Webern simply confuse listeners' brains.
Philip Ball, author of The Music Instinct, has drawn on the latest scientific findings from neuroscientists to show structure and patterns in music are a fundamental part of musical enjoyment. He said: "Many people still seem to find modern classical music challenging. If that is the case, then they can relax as it is challenging for a good reason and it is not because they are in some way too musically stupid to appreciate it.

Are We Really Serious About Our Personality?

You might be wondering to think why this crap always likes to blabber on all such erratic and insignificant things. But sorry, I can't help it. The purpose of this blog is to reflect my ideas to the people around me as well as people away from me. Are we really serious about our personality? What do we think about our personality? Is it some kind of material that is readily available in market and anyone who wishes to have a good personality, can easily purchase it using Cash or Card? No ..... absolutely not .. because of not being a student of psychology, I won't be able to technically define it. But so far I can feel it, it's an indispensable component of human beings which actually comprises of behavioral, temperamental, emotional & mental patterns. All you can say about it is that, it is a set or collection of attributes that characterizes an individual, that means which uniquely characterizes or makes the person distinct from every other person. But if we look at ourselves, what we can see! all of us are trying to imitate the other as they are not satisfied at what they are. The consequence is simple enough to be understood. No person will be having his or her own personality. Are you on the right track? Ask yourself .....
Thanks !

Real Picture of IT Hubs in Eastern India

Hello everyone, after a long time breakup I think I must write something on whatever thoughts are wriggling in my mind. I know very well that it could not be changed overnight, but if a little jerk will evolve out of it, it would be really great for us. Yes, I am talking about what is going on in the name of rapid industrialization particularly in eastern indian urban and suburban regions. Anyone who is quite aware of it can easily imagine the bleak picture inside the curtain. There may be several reasons out of which a few ones are vital for this perpetual decline. Firstly, the willingness and cooperative mentality to work is surprisingly missing in ruling as well as opposition parties. Incessant political turbulence is ever-increasing which can easily be witnessed in every day-to-day affairs. Failure to run proper administration and to combat criminal offences is one of the most significant reason for this situation. Interesting fact is that, the investors are now tactfully avoiding Kolkata & its suburban areas and opting Bhubaneswar, Guwahati due to better availability of infrastructural requirements viz. Availability of electricity at cheaper rates, better skilled manpower, better communication system, lack of initiative (collaborative efforts like PPP model (Private-Public Partnership)) from every peer, low pollution-rate (in water, air & others) & of course administrative complication and thereby delaying even of the committed projects.  If everything is being politicized to satiate someones' vested interest then no initiative, no inauguration can make it a change. I think, correctionism is best way to repair all those loopholes. Secondly, topographical location of this region is another major problem to deal with. If you can take a look at Chennai, Kochi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Noida, Hyderabad, Pune, you can easily understand the difference. In Bangalore there are nearly 14-16 IT sectors widely scattered comprising of nearly 3000 companies. But in Kolkata, Durgapur, Siliguri, Haldia as well as other territories in this region, you know very well, how much ! Whenever no. of companies are huge, obviously the opportunities are high which necessarily comes with variation of job profiles, variation of work culture and so on. Only one benefit of this area is low-cost expenses as compared to other regions in India. But there is no want of potential among these students. We just need to make sure that we want the development of our lifestyle as well as our mentality from the bottom of our heart to pave the way to pinnacle and make it happen, not for me, for us ! Thanks.
