Different Ways To Invest Money .......

Once you have understood your investment goals and how much money you need to meet your goal, you need to understand the deeper bits and choose the right ways to invest money. Most analysts often advice people begin investing in common ways to invest money like stocks, bonds and sometimes even in property from the first years in business onwards. The simple reason being the compound interest that you will gain in the future years by your present investments.
There are thousand ways to invest money that you can choose from and most of the times these could often leave you in a very daunting position. Searching for the right investment that interests you and pays you the desired interest rates annually is not a trivial matter. It is imperative that you choose a long-term wealth plan that has good rate of interest returns on your investment.  In this process of deciding between different ways to invest, you could also be posed with a situation where you need to park your investment money in some other investment till you gain enough of profits from the temporary place.
There are several ways to invest money. Some of the most common sought after short term ones are as below.

Savings account

Although the rate of interest on savings account is not all that great, and in the last few years have only fallen further because of the global economic crisis, yet the savings bank account has retained its traditional position among the ways to invest money. The savings bank is much better mode of investment and earning some interest rather than earning nothing by putting in pennies in your piggy bank.

Money market funds

This is an excellent type of investment and is basically a special type of mutual funds that you can invest in for a short term bonds. This is nothing like the mutual funds that use the money in the market funds and are said to be worth $1 most of the times. The interest rates in a money market fund as against the savings account is however much better, although you cannot compare either of these ways to invest money to the earnings from certificate of deposits.

Certificate of Deposit

This is very popular among the different ways to invest money. The interest rate that you earn on Compact Deposit investments is almost the same that what you would expect from any other intermediate or even short term bonds, however it all depends on the duration of investment. You get your returns on investments till the time your CD matures; once it matures you get back the accumulated money along with the money you had originally invested. Usually when you invest money in CD’s you are assured of an insurance that is about $100,000.

There are also long-term ways to invest money like;

Stocks

By a stocks investment you buy part of that particular business. It all depends on how well that particular business does, if incase that business crumbles you would stand at a loss. However if you choose investment in a business stock that is playing well in the market then you stand to gain as well. Long term stocks are gambling, nevertheless they are popular among other ways to invest money.

Bonds

These are also known as fixed income securities; this is because you get a fixed amount of income from the bond that you invest in annually or even when the bond is sold. Bonds are not very different from CD’s however these are issued by the government or corporations.

Mutual Funds

Mutual funds are among the popular ways to invest money. You allow the investor an investment in stock, bonds or any thing that they decide to invest in which could be worthwhile. You basically give your money to someone else to invest who knows the market inside out while you reap in the investment benefits.

A few words ....on Mutual Fund Investments......

Ultimate destination of mutual funds are -->
1. Equity Funds.
2. Debt Funds.
3. Balanced Funds.

  • Equity funds are mainly equity shares or equity stocks. Here risk is more cf. to other avenues, but produces better return amongst all. If funds are invested in a planned way. (NO RISK NO GAIN).
  • Debt funds basically includes governmental & non-governmental debt-papers, mortgage papers. Here risk is less than equity funds (shares, debentures). At the same time return is not huge like equity funds.
  • Balanced funds are those funds where there is a combination of equity funds as well as debt-funds. Here the funds are invested according to the risk-profile of equity funds as well as debt funds. Here risk & return both are average. This can be more secured & safer destination of various mutual funds.
  • For short-term maturity period one-time investment can be a good choice. But for long-term (may be for 3 yrs or more) maturity period, SIP (Systematic Investment Plan) can be the best choice I think. Because here you need to pay premiums at a regular intervals as per your investment-policy rules. Here the investment is distributed in order to minimize the load of paying heavy amount at a time. Investment payments are made in an arranged risk-return ratio.

A few words ... little bit freaky .......... from my hatch .......

Hello and Welcome,
Since few days I've been brooding over some weird thoughts. I don't know why. That's the purpose of this post. Before being more puzzled, let me express my views & I think I must share the things I've learnt and realized so far. It might sound little bit harsh, but I'm sorry.

In this present scenario, when our country is emerging as one of the strongest economic powerhouse of the world and ushers a new horizon to the rest of the globe, it is very important for the people to come forward and take necessary responsibility to play a significant role by taking part in this developmental process. But we, the so-called responsible and sensible citizens of India are noway  interested in hearing that. The so-called civil society is ostentatiously worried about the erosion of moral values and respects, specially when the entire society became paranoid and acts like a reptile. But has anybody tried to find out the reason behind this sort of mentality? What made us think in a so rude or rather self-centered way? Nobody can answer it. Because India is such a country where population is 121 crore and increasing in a rapid rate. There is no solution. A country where ministers and MPs are accused of money laundering over 2 lac crore (if not more). A country where cancer of many forms is going to emerge as an epidemic in the coming few years. There is no solution. There is no campaigning. 80 crore of people earn less than Rs.20/- per day in the 2nd most developing country of the world. A country where baby-food is costlier than mobile phone. A country where cars are huge in number as compared to roads. Above all, there is deep recession as an aftereffect of global economic meltdown. There is cut-throat competition in every sector because of the population and situation is getting even worse because of reservation in every sector. To survive in the keen competition, you have to be tricky. Focus to the goals are most important thing I think. Goals are more important than the way you achieve it. Yah.. morality is good as long as it works for you. But nothing is good if it doesn't work for you and anything bad might be good for you if it works for you. "Good" or "Bad" is absolutely relative. You can't always take the right decisions, rather you should always take the decisions and make them right. You just have to love yourself. That's it. This is not a kinda vocal tonic or anything else, that's the reality. You might be technically at par always, but you know, there are always required certain subtleties which you can call x-factor or zing-factor that actually makes you different from others. You can reach upto certain level by your academic skills. But to go beyond that limit you need to cultivate yourself. Secondly, another thing I need to point out is the treatment the guardians should provide to their children. You have to understand that ultimately nobody is your friend in the professional arena. In the era of rat-race everybody is running after his/her own targets. Less no.of people become happy watching you succeed, and more no.of people become happy watching you fail. Now you decide, what you should do. Over-possessiveness is kinda of mental blocks among the guardians which ultimately causes harm. In research, it has been seen that overprotective children ultimately suffer emotional insecurity and identity-crisis. Because in every situation if guardians interfere and take decisions for their children, then no decision-making capability will be built up among the children which is utterly necessary in professional world. In other way, one needs his/her family-support to do really something big. Because, no risk..... no gain. The more you take risk the more you reach closer to gain success. So, risk management is another important thing. Another thing is stress management. The person whose adjustment and adaptability skills are better than the other will ultimately survive. Decision making is a mental game. To become mentally self-sufficient, you have to face the situation and have to take decisions on your own. That's the way one grows up and becomes fit for every situation. As it's a kind of war, so nothing is unfair in love and war.

Thank you for taking time reading this post ............ See you soon ................
